Allow your AI to access your Notes

In Settings, you create an MCP token. That token is what your AI client connects with — there is no shared account, no OAuth dance, and nothing tied to your Noteasy password.

Each token is scoped to one device or one client. If you connect ChatGPT and Claude separately, you create two tokens. Losing one only means revoking that one.

A token is scoped to a folder, not your whole vault. Point it at "Work" and the connection can only read and write inside "Work" — your journal, your drafts, everything else stays invisible to it.

You can widen or narrow the scope later without creating a new token.

It is a stateless remote MCP endpoint. Every request from your AI client carries the token, Noteasy checks the scope, and answers. Nothing is kept open between requests, and nothing about the conversation is stored on our side beyond the note changes themselves.

Delete the token in Settings and the connection stops immediately. No note is deleted or changed by revoking — you are only removing a door, not the room behind it.
